Cops: The Cowards and Courageous in Parkland

The Parkland School shooting is another incident that will forever be shaping the way our kids see and understand the world. Responding to the incident were mostly courageous cops but there were an unfortunate and shameful few that displayed COWARDICE in the face of a dark hour when they were needed so desperately to be the light of hope to those students.

*I mistakenly identified only “students” when I said 17 victims as opposed to the breakdown of students and faculty present. Sorry about that, as I certainly don’t get my info accurate from notes to mouth sometimes. Every one of these lives mattered and I don’t want to detract from that in any way.

This isn’t about Monday morning quarterbacking this is about a call to always be the best of what we have to offer and not the worst.

  1. I'm sorry, but this is a very hypocritical video. So do you have ALL the facts of the situation? Why is it that when a Citizen is killed or beaten by a police officer, many in the right wing media (including your videos) say "need to wait for the facts, before passing judgment". Even when video is provided. I'm curious to understand what was going through the officer's mind. But I will not pass judgment on this man and other fellow officers based on hear say. As you say in Cops killing unarmed Blacks……wait for the facts!!

  2. kudos calling them cowards. nothing pissed me off as much as the douchbag commander saying "the lion doesn't consult the opinion of the sheep".
being a man, if I were a one-legged half a tard with a pointy stick, knowing children were being killed, I would've ran (hopped) in and charged the piece of shit

  3. not sure if you still reply to this video… curious to know what you would think about a civilian approaching a cop to offer help in clearing out an active shooter…would this be dangerous for all parties?

  4. I was outraged by what transpired. I know what I would do. Not think I know. I had two neighbors get in a fight. One went and got a 12 gauge pump. He chambered a round as he came out the door. There were kids outside playing. I yelled at my wife to get the kids and lay on the floor and in the hall. Then I confronted the neighbor and calmed him down. I got him to go in the house. What did I have? T-shirt, shorts and flip flops. Was I scared yes. But I couldn't just go in the house and let it happened. After it has all over then I realized how close it really was.

  5. Find the threat, neutralize the threat…. write me up, suspend me, fire me… we’ll deal with that later.. in this case I’m sure ANY other agency would gladly take me

  6. I live in coral springs. Right outside of parkland. Parkland is where old guys to retire. They to this day have trouble getting people into parkland. Granted since this has happen. They added more young deputys. But still hard to find more.

  7. As much respect as I have for Mike, you weren't there. In a lot of videos, just because you state before "I am not Monday morning quarterbacking" doesn't mean you actually are.

  8. I’m a ccw holder. Although I know it is not my job, if there was an act!ve sh@@ter incident at my school I hope I would have the courage to get my firearm out of my car and address it. What is the legality of such actions or would this be a bad idea. Obviously you will not encourage me to risk my life….but if innocent life was being lost and I had the ability to stop it I like to think I’d have the bravery to stop it. I guess my question is could I retrieve my firearm and try to end the threat?

  9. I grew up in Coral Springs, FL, and moved to Parkland just before 9th grade so I went to Douglas High. I couldn't freaking believe that my old school was involved in a mass shooting.

  10. In every line of work, there is always a few bad eggs. When it comes down to it, weeding them out is never pretty.

  11. i understand some of what you mean staying in shape should b required of cops who are active i see too many land whales on duty fat as a blimp its stupid why are they still on active duty

  12. 1st off what a tragic situation. My heart goes out. Here is what I see. #1 I am a United States Marine Corps Veteran. My training would absolutely draw me directly to the gunfire. I do not care of the Great and honorable Donald Trump said no. Yes I am a legal firearms carry citizen. I would not stop for any no Gun zone sign either. Worst case the person sees me with a firearm and draws his fire so they could get hold of him. I am an 0311 (Grunt) going towards the gunfire is in my blood. It is locked into my mind. There is absolutely no excuse for this officers actions. People have already put out there that they should post a couple veterans near the doors of every school to act as security. I am not a cop I do respect almost every cop. I respect you of course. This cop will have to live this for the rest of his life. I would rather the person shot me and saved those kids. That is why I went into the USMC is to serve and protect. I took that OATH and it has no expiration date.

  13. I am all on the side of the cops being a 10 year military veteran but I'm sorry Mike, I see a problem that I think you missed.

You said that the jurisdiction, (Broward County), has around 3,000 cops you'd be happy to serve alongside… I can see that… What I don't get is how the first four there, according to what you say in this video, were the cowards? That doesn't make sense. In a sample size of 3000, four is very small percentage yet, somehow, they were the first 4 available on that shift in that vicinity. Someone had to be ordering them not to enter because, as you said, good cops will disobey a bad order.

The upshot would appear to be that the leadership were cowards and that attitude filtered down quite readily – at least sufficiently for four of the first officers on the scene to believe that it's ok to leave kids to die.

    Your thoughts?

  14. Great Commentary and straight to the point. I'm with you all the way brother!!. I would have went all in, geared up as fast as I could. DAMN !! This the type of action you learn to deal with in the military. These LEOs were straight COWARDS !!! All that equipment and they stood outside while the children got slaughtered… Totally SICKENING !!!

  15. Are you a real cop? Some "cops" with channels up here have turned out to merely be actors and roleplayers who enjoy making police-themed content. For entertainment.

  16. The 62 people who disliked this video … says more about you than Mike the badass. Badass is short for cop.

    🖤💙🖤💙

  17. Cops are nothing but pathetic Liars that can't hit the broadside of a barn! Most police shootings happen between 5 and 7 yards. Police average hitting their targets only 20% of the time at that distance, that's an 80% Miss rate at spitting distance! It's clear by police training you are nothing but overweight bums with little to no common sense and no personal responsibility! You can't be in the fattest profession in America without being the laziest too! It's absolutely ridiculous that there is no height and weight standards for policing! It's not fair to the taxpayers to pay salaries for officers that are morbidly obese! And police unions work hard to keep disgustingly overweight and cops on the job, police are the enemy of the Free World! When the new Revolutionary War / civil war starts all cops that have fucked people over will be hunted down and brought to Justice by people that have better tactical training than they could ever dream of!

  18. Mike, why is your meme a pig? You're not a clearly not a pig aka dirty cop. You're clearly a good Officer of the Law. The two are different.

UPDATE: After I commented, I watched this and wow, you confirmed what I commented. I have always known Officers of the Law are good are here for the people. There are a few bad apples and you acknowledge that, which makes me love you all more. Keep up the good work. God bless you all, in Jesus name, Amen.

  19. I don't have any problem with anything you say in this video. It's the passive communication I have problem with. Why do you men and women need to desecrate my flag? I am a Patriot. I support the Thin Blue Line. Please leave my Flag alone? Thank you, Sergeant.

  20. There is an ex cop I like called, on youtube, the Justicar.
He has done a video on this and has similar views.
He is very smart and well worth a look.

  21. Ok, so that cop was ordered not to go in… But I think Capt. Picard on Star trek TNG once said it best… "How many people lost their lives by simply following orders"…

A cops training is to neutralize the threat by ANY MEANS NESSISARY… Even if it means dispatching the suspect…

Now, something a little off topic, but, what is the deal with the strange colourations of your flag in your background?

Stay up Mike, and all good cops, God bless you and stay safe…

  22. Mike the cop is a pathetic lying Pig! This piece of shit is no better than the motherfukers that violate their oath on a daily basis! The day that Mike the cop first put on his badge his testicles retreated into his body cavity and they've been there ever since! 100% of cops are corrupt lying scum of the earth that belong in jail or in the ground! Everything that comes out of a pig's mouth is a lie they can never be trusted! Fuck you Mike the cop and the rest of your badge wearing butt Buddies!!!

  23. Scott Petersons replacement was found sleeping on the job after the shooting !wowif all the dept. just needs to pay a check to someone send it to me in NC?

  24. Agree completely, if it was my children in that school id be so irate. Thank goodness for the courageous officer who decided to step up and help!!! This situation makes me sick as a parent. I hate our babies have to worry about this evil.

  25. I wonder if this was posted before all the cowardice and corruption of Sheriff Israel came out…

Cowardice and corruption and a Stand down order🤔🤔🤔🤔 could it be Israel wanted/needed a national emergency to make Trump look bad? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 also he’s an associate of the Clinton’s 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 oddities abound

  26. You sir are a moron. It's real easy to say you would when clearly you yourself have never been in a active shooter situation.

  27. i admire truly good people whether they be a McDonald's employee or meth head but as much cop hatred as there is, no matter how many cases where they abuse their power that warrant cop hate bias…something really warms my heart about a cop who truly is a good person…cause everybody hates you still…you're still just bacon to most and everyone is still gonna give you shit…but you are still in there bandaging up little kids with gun wounds
