Body cam videos carried by officers in Ohio are giving the public a closer look at the dangers police faced during a recent standoff with a suspect. The Green Township Police Department of Ohio has released dash cam and body cam footage of officers responding to a subject firing weapons into a neighbor’s yard last month. When officers from the Green Township Police Department and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office arrived, the defendant fired several rounds at officers. The video shows officers taking fire, diving for cover and negotiating with the subject who was later arrested.

“This was a very dangerous call for the responding officers. The Green Township officers and Hamilton County Sheriff deputies that responded to this call should be commended for the courage and professionalism. They relied on their training and kept their composure in an extremely stressful situation,” Jim Vetter, chief of the Green Township Police Department, posted on the department’s Facebook page. Vetter posted that Brendan MacDonald was indicted by a Hamilton County grand jury for multiple counts of attempted murder and felonious assault.

  13. This is completely irrelevant to the whole video but you can see the road waving on the hills? That’s from the glaciers constantly putting and pushing gravel, dirt, mud, and lots of other elements and minerals onto land. I forgot what those are called. It happend in the ice age

  19. He was found guilty and sentenced to 53 years in prison. He was 52 years old at the time of his sentencing, so…guess that means he will be out next week.

  20. This is one of the only videos where I see police who aren't there as a show of force but to actively protect and serve. I've seen so many people die who dont have to. Why is it that they can arrest a man who is shooting bullets at officers but have "no choice" but to kill a man standing there with a knife when u have multiple officers all armed with tasers (which is an example from the previous video I watched) but there are PLENTY more. These cops are truly professional and I feel like everybody deserves cops who operate like this wherever they live.

  43. This is what I think of when I hear Americans saying "we need guns to protect against our government" and this is without tanks, military, bombers, navy, all rockets and trillions of dollars that's been thrown at your military in the last couple of years
