    both were railroaded and threatened with jail time IF we did not take a plea of their liking and pay them money. Our attorneys were both shit ass (prob paid off) and did absolutely nothing to help us BUT railroad us into taking plea deals-OR we would be sentenced to more jail time. Amanda took the lesser of the two charges-resisting arrest and had to pay restitution fees for everything. Anthony’s case (2/17/2021) closed with a plea (or jail time-tried by judge as judge and jury, YO, threatened with extremely high fees and jail time over a year) They said we had a choice (but them knowing we didn’t t have thousands of dollars) tricked us into pleading guilty (when we both made it very verbally clear we felt we were NOT guilty) so we didn’t serve jail time. Not a single fight from our attorneys to address the actual issues. Basically told if you don’t plea guilty and take the restitution you WILL do jail time-because the judge will not believe your side of the story and you are hated in those parts of Alabama. We were railroaded with the threat of thousands of dollars and jail time if we did not take the plea deal. Due to our lives having moved on, and this being almost two years later, we financially and emotionally did not have a choice. Anthony’s attorney made it very clear IF he DID NOT take a plea he would be seeing up to if not more than 12 months jail time. The Judge made it clear if we take it to trial he will be judge and jury and that it would not go well. Railroaded? Safe to presume so. Did they want money?-that is ALL they wanted. This happened with the blatant disregard to protect and serve and the repercussions knowing they will get money out of the “new” members of their town. Less than six months living in that town and they took every single thing from us. They took our jobs and ran us out of town. Our safety was not their concern and they made it clear-they WOULD take our money and our lives if they could. Both cases are now “closed”. Though it was stated Anthony could not take legal action against the sheriffs and the department and the county. We say that’s bullshit and now we are fighting harder than ever to to bring this county and department to their knees.

  18. Their must be a better way to fight this. It cost that guy $2500 for the damage, the tickets , and a felony charge. When all he had to do was show ID and all this won't do a damn thing for the fight against these thugs. If every time they did this they got sued , ok. But we all know that doesn't happen. Let's get organized and figure out a way to actually make a difference. They know the court system won't do anything to them.

  36. Fighting for freedom doesn't always mean the same. You think it's for giving but it could be to take just as easy. If I'm a mugger I fight for your money and I'm sure not given it to you. It's a simple misunderstanding that has cost all of us freedoms. Just ask yourself this if we have all our God given rights already from birth then what bucking right can government give you? They can't give you something you already have they can only take it from you. People say they vote for rights and freedom but every law they write takes another's rights and freedoms.
