A 38-year-old man who West Melbourne police said was acting ‘bizarre’ before leading them on a vehicle pursuit through several streets to get to his home in Melbourne, Florida remains jailed. Police tazed and pepper-sprayed the man before taking him into custody and sending him to the hospital to be evaluated, reports show. Jorge Louis Rosado, Melbourne, was charged with aggravated battery of a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer without violence and fleeing and eluding after officers attempted to question him during a stop just after midnight Wednesday in the 1000 block of Wickham Road, records show.

“He fled during a traffic stop,” said Sgt. Michelle Page of the West Melbourne Police Department. The officer who conducted the initial traffic stop reported that Rosado refused to retrieve his vehicle’s documents on request and would not roll his window down. The officer asked Rosado to step out but as the officer attempted to undo Rosado’s seatbelt, he drove off, reports show. Police said Rosado then sped along the roadway despite being followed by patrol cars.

Officers used spike sticks to rip through his tires as he drove through one area. Police said Rosado kept driving until he pulled into his front yard. He refused to get out of the vehicle until several officers physically pulled him out and used a stun gun and pepper spray to subdue him, reports show. He was booked into the Brevard County Jail Complex in Sharpes where he was being held on a $20,000 bond, records show.

  1. Every police department should have a kick ass patrol…if you run from them and when you finally get caught the kick ass patrol should be called on to kick your stupid ass for the exact same amount of time you ran from them putting the rest of the citizens in danger

  2. I thought U ment Melbourne Australia before I watched the video,I was gonna say I didn't think you'd have any bodycam footage from our country 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

  3. We need new laws, after 2 times , broke windows an taz-a-matic. Heres vid of why!, Perp pull out and kills a family because of pussy engagement.

  4. i'm going to drive away so i can stop about three blocks away…..THEN get out of my car and get roughed up by the cops…because i gotta do it my way. what was the point of that? what the hell was the point?

  5. Police sirens should shutoff automatically when the cruiser door opens, or the officers should be equipped with an easily reachable button on their equipment that they can use to remotely shut it off. It would certainly make the Youtube viewing experience more enjoyable lol!

  6. When I was a kid I thought that sirens were connected the car wheels and turned off when the car stopped…maybe is not such a bad idea.

  7. The dog hears the siren: "Goin to work! Goin to work! Goin to work! Goin to work! Goin to work! Goin to work! Goin to work! "

  8. I Ain't against women being polie but when they act like that to the point of being ridiculous
And she lucky her supervisor didn't pull up than she would be screwed.

  9. @policeactivity do you guys have an email that I can email you guys? There was a police shooting in my town about 2 years ago and it was release on Tv by the DA, but it would be interesting to see it again. I know no charges were filed on the officers. Luckily the officers were still here to tell the story.

  10. That's what happens when you're a total fucking jerk towards a totally polite police officer and then decide to flee on top of it all. Deserved! Take notes SJW nutjobs.

  11. That canine really wants a taste. I wonder if dogs can contract HIV and other diseases from a person if they bite them.
