This video that I am sharing is approximately a year old. Surprisingly to you possibly. I am a former LEO that left on good terms and for lack of money. I too am very similar in how I got started exposing people like Blackburn and the unknown person who stole the camera. by being threatened to be arrested for filming an incident with my neighbor. 

On December 11th, 2018 a Deputy Blackburn is believed to have willfully and knowingly committed felony theft as per 514.030 Theft by deception and conspiracy to commit theft as per 506.040 with an unknown deputy. 

On the above approximate date and time, a traffic stop was conducted within the jurisdiction of Simpson County. The victim was over 50 feet away from the traffic stop. Deputy Blackburn approached the Victim and engaged in a conversation that was recorded. The victim was cooperative with Deputy Blackburn. While Deputy Blackburn was engaged in conversation an UNKNOWN Deputy who throughout the encounter refused to identify himself positioned himself behind the victim. SEE ACLU FOR INFOMATION

Deputy Blackburn engaged in intimidation of a citizen to put a well-rounded fear into the person who was recording. This conduct would chill the ordinary man from exercising his or her free speech protected under the first amendment. (SEE US SUPREME COURT  page 3). Deputy Blackburn stated that he would seize the phone for evidence even without a warrant. (SEE RILEY V CALIFORNIA USSC)

 Blackburn then made several threats of intimidation to seize the phone several times. Once he walked away the UNKNOWN deputy seized the victim’s phone until the traffic stop was over. The victim made several attempts to get the phone back and also identify the deputy who refused to provide the name. The sergeant also failed to provide the name of the person who committed robbery per 515.030 as indicated in the statute used force to remove the phone from the victim’s hands.

Sheriff, while I know that you have a different mindset of people recording but be mindful you are here to uphold the law, constitution, and if I am not mistaken you’re a constitutional officer. Do better, handle this asap.

Please govern yourself accordingly, you’ve been put on notice we have a constitution have your deputies review it 1-17. To mitigate further liability to you and your deputies immediately create a policy for encountering citizens recording video and audio.

  7. It's a shame that we didn't read that he filed a lawsuit for violations of the Bane act as well as the Fourth Amendment. This is a perfect example of retaliation, done just to inconvenience him and keep him from further recording.
    There's also:
    Section 242 of Title 18, which makes it a crime for a person acting under color of any law to willfully deprive a person of a right or privilege protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States.

  19. The privacy protection act of 1980 forbids cops from taking your phone without a warrant. You could have sued, and the best part about the Act is qualified immunity does not apply! It’s in the actual law they can’t claim it. They have to actually prove they had just cause to take it.

  30. Captain Obvious here: They don't like "civilians" to video record them should one of them commit a crime against the detainee. They can edit or conveniently "lose" their own body camera footage, shut it of at the scene, or merely refuse to release it. Rather like how the Mafia hate being recorded.

  44. @James Madison Audits Just a question, you are vouching for the authenticity of this story buy telling it and uploading on your channel. Do you have any corroborating evidence that the phone was seized, a police report, body cam something? I'm not sure I'd go out on a limb all I see in this video is the officer walk away and he turns off his own camera to supposedly go live. Would you take this story with this evidence to a jury so to speak?

  45. I think multiple cameras that all operate at the same time would have served you well.
    A body cam perhaps would have given you footage of the action of the other officer.

  50. Straight up illegal tyrant. Exact reason cops should have to provide their own liability insurance, paid for by them, that way dirty cops couldn’t get insured and would be quickly weeded out, but the mob/cartel like unions would never allow it
