The NYPD continue to violate the Rights of the #Homeless in #Harlem on 125 Street….Here this guy was waiting to catch the M35 Bus that takes them to the “Wards Island Shelter” on Randalls Island, the Officers for no reason grab him and start harassing him…They lie and tell him that he has a ICAD Warrant just to Detain him…we later find him 40 Minutes Later on 115 Street, 3rd Avenue walking with a friend & interview him…It turned out that they were looking for a guy he knew from the Shelter, not him…An officer can request that you come in and speak to a Detective, but anyone can decline that request, unless you are under arrest, you can refuse to be questioned, especially if it has nothing to do with you..but in this case, they lied just to force him to submit to questioning which is illegal and Unconstitutional….Let them try that Shit with me!!
