Last night in East Harlem…NYPD Plainclothes Unit out of the 23Pct were at it again, but this time they targeted 3 black young males that just got on a cab on 112 Street, Park Ave and got stopped as soon as the cab drove away…They were pulled out of the cab & searched without their consent, but these guys came out clean…When I went to interview them, the cops came over and got into a debate with me which spooked the kids from talking to me, however I was able to talk to them thereafter..These Idiots try to justify their acts with bullshit Excuses, none of the excuses gave them probable cause to search them, per NYPD Policy they are only allowed to pat them down in situations like drinking in public and so forth….The only way that these Officers can search without consent is when a Warrant check comes out Positive, but in this instance the officers never ran a background check…WHAT THEY REALLY DID WAS SEE 3 YOUNG BLACK MALES GET INTO A CAB AND AUTOMATICALLY ASSUMED THAT THEY EITHER HAD DRUGS OR A GUN..PLAIN & SIMPLE!!
