COP FIRED FOR CRIMINAL ACT – POLICE CHIEF HORNADAY SPEAKS – First Amendment Audit – Amagansett Press

A Kansas police officer “fabricated” a story that a McDonald’s employee wrote an expletive on his coffee cup over the weekend, Herington Police Chief Brian Hornaday said Monday. Hornaday said the officer no longer works for the department.

  1. To my understanding, what exonerated the McDonald's employees were the cameras. If it weren't for the cameras, the cop's word would have been believed over the employees. Cameras can accuse you or excuse you and it never lies. This is why cameras are important; on cops, buildings, citizens….

  2. 99% of 'hate crimes' are self inflicted. Probably more like 99.999%, but I'm being generous. Shame Amagansett Press doesn't cover those, too. As people will begin to notice a common theme.

  3. A cop writes "pig" on a receipt and that gives law enforcement a black eye. But, their daily routine of questionable behavior is just business as usual.

  4. It would be one more stain that adds to the skin of the Police Department. The problem is that the Police Department already looks like a TIGER. LOL

  5. Lol welcomed at another dept with open arms….good media relations for the chief though 🤣😅🤣😅🤣😅🤣

  6. This horrific act that should have earned jail time for this "officer" instead just gives him the chance to resign, and move down the road. Defund them all – this "chief" is worse than his officer – throw them all out on the streets minus their guns, badges, and qualified immunity so that local citizens can create actual, accountable law enforcement.

  7. Man , if we just clipped , JUST the actual lies cops tell from ONE first amendment channel….. The fucking video would be 3 days long!

  8. the "black eye on their police dept" was their officer being CAUGHT….
NOTICE HE SAID THIS COP IS NO LONGER WITH OUR AGENCY….HE SHOULD HAVE SAID
"THIS BAD COP WILL NEVER BE HIRED AS LAW ENFORCEMENT EVER AGAIN ANYWHERE IN THE USA" but no….wanna bet this bad cop is working in another county!!!! total bs

  9. A black eye don't mean do-do, is the man in jail? Sounds like he submitted a lie on his paperwork, that is breaking the law. Falsifying a govt. document is a felony in most states. Hornaday you appear to be a liar.

  10. So the Hornaday guy says at the end that, because of this incident, he'll seriously reconsider posting video of wrong doing? Wtf? Perhaps I'm missing something..but who knows?
