This is outrageous! I'm calling the number and expressing my opinion. We can't just let this go people
So he dials 911, reports an assault and the first thing he says to the responding officers is "am i being detained? I am putting you on a timer to get this shit done". Then literally sits there and offers no real testimony as to the assault. I understand being nervous and scared, but what the hell?
It's complete bullshit that they arrested him for misuse of 911, but what was his major issue here? Was this video edited for this page here? They said he was with the officers for 15 minutes. This is mindblowing.
Some things sound fishy:
1) he couldn‘t afford a lawyer – so a public defender will be appointed
2) the judge didn‘t let him speak – if true this would be a much bigger lawsuit
3) he doesn‘t know the assaulter but has his name
4) why is he going outside the building to call the police – I bet there are other officers there to complain to
What reason should the deputy have to assault him? The narrative that is implied in this video – all cops bad?
I‘m not defending all police actions. I wasn‘t there. But I‘m for transparency on ALL sides. And something doesn‘t sound right here.

Should've called an ambulance for treatment. What a moron. Too broke for a lawyer, too broke for an ambulance but still wants to claim he was injured and claim he was mistreated in court. This is why you hire professionals. It cost him more to lose his job than it would have to pay for a lawyer and pay for a quick evaluation of his shoulder on the scene.

Wow… it seems like the whole PD from that state is working for Rudolph Hitler. Fuckin communists pieces of 💩. That's why when you walk into a PD office and you ask for a complaint form, 99.9% you might end up in cuffs. How come the public DARES to even consider make a complaint about any PO? They'll make up charges as it goes and somehow they'll get you arrested on some BS charges. The corruption within some of the PD must be cleaned up. I think is time to take all THE TRASH out.

Police fail to understand that when they cover for each other's misreads it feeds the flames of distrust among the citizens of this country.

Qualified immunity be removed. Police investigating themselves be stopped. Police officers should be required to undergo the same criminal justice system when accused of wrongdoing
They should pay for their own defense or carry insurance paid for by each individual officer.
