32. My ears perked up when they mentioned the possibility of Rock Climbing…..
    I got a real kick out of guessing, and running through the possible scenes of Amagansett Press roped into a harness at the base of a climbing running through the climbers checklist: Climber ready: Check harness is on proper and that the belt is safely doubled back, making sure that they are tied in with a figure 8 and some kind of keeper!
    Belayer ready: Harness is on and doubled back, that they have the belay device is locked onto the harness correctly and that the rope is running through to the climber in the right direction, and that the belayers brake hand never leaves the rope.
    Climb On!!!
    I imagine watching Amagansett Press working anything up to 10c with some effort, maybe with ease…but lots of laughter!! And running into a tough cookie once we get him up on an 10d and up to 11b!!
    Remember!!! The fun and the family is around in the 10's… the real go getter hangs out in the 11s… men? 12 and above… up to the 14s when it switches back to lanky little belemic boys who have nothing but strength and the right amount of stupid to really put human sport of climbing to the test!!!
