I emailed them last week with my driver's license and yet to hear back. I had an argument with someone on there but never did I curse or threaten anyone nor do I post spam. I think this is bad. If they are going to have Facebook police just do and have them inbox you but I lost 12 years of photos from my World travels and its really grimey of them. I could care less about going back on but just want my pics back. How will I know why I was kicked into FB Jail? I never received a message that said the number of days I will be away.

18. Mike it's not really that hard to understand. Someone probably complained to Facebook about your post because lots of people hate cops. Facebook trying to look like they're being tough on their content providers because of their inaction during the 2016 election decide to send you to FB jail.

    As for your examples of even worse content those content providers are black and therefore are given considerably more latitude in posting violent content and content that mocks groups in society. Facebook certainly doesn't want to be accused of being racist by sending black content creators to FB jail.

20. It is virtually impossible to make this world "fair". Facebook is intensively looking at all of the page content of certain subscribers in order to weed out conservatives, republicans, and those right-of-center politically. This could be a jab back at our President. I don't know. They may have (mistakenly?) viewed your content as being right of center or conservative. I don't agree with Facebook, YouTube, or Google's political stance. What we need is another social media format, similar to these two successful websites, that allows for the free exchange of ideas, and one that ultimately honors free speech.

25. Facebook completely deleted my whole account, thing is if someone dislikes my content they could block me and never see anything ever again. Facebook isn't trying to save people from what they see, they're administering punishment. If a person reported someone FB could just say "block them and move on, that's what that function is there for".

There's been people who have taken companies to court for this type of thing. 38. You are not alone, I have been seeing this happen to other youtube creators recently. I don't think you are out of line to question it. I don't know why there has been an uptick in this, but there has been. There also doesn't seem to be a good appeals process, or clear definitive reasons given for the action taken. Often no warnings are given, no chance to rectify the situation. Creators are left confused and baffled, scratching their heads trying to figure out what the issue is.

    I Get that it's a business and they can deal with it however they please, however using a sledgehammer to kill flys might be a little over the top.

    Its one heck of a way to do business.

50. Mike, this seems to be pretty common and not just FB but here on YouTube, you should check out Steven Crowder’s channel and the battles he and his team are fighting. Might even be worth exploring how they are so successful in fighting FB and YouTube…. you shouldn’t have to play along or play the game. Private platform or not, the individual contributors to these platforms shouldn’t experience selective, unfair and/or punitive enforcement of the platforms own rules based on a perceived, implied or actual political position.

    The larger issue is that voices of contributors are being silenced under the false veil of self promoted as inclusive, free speech policies and rules that FB and YouTube appear to be using to eliminate or punish contributors based on political stance.
