14. watch a catch22… "apologize or I press charges"… if you apologize for striking someone you admit guilt, and under domestic abuse laws they arrest you anyhow… don't apologize and you still might get arrested, or just a report taken and turned over to detectives… but I certainly wouldn't skip the apology and substitute it with insults, I'd just ask for an attorney…
