7. It was the best system we had back in the 80's up to the early 90's, but now is just an antiquated system they keep trying to revive. The US military would be better off with PzH 2000.

8. I spent 6 years on the 109. Loved every minute of it. B Battery 2/ 3rd Field Artillery and B Battery 3/ 3 rd Field Artillery. Steel on the target.

15. Wow quite a few nice improvements to the 155 since I was in. Back upon my enlistment in Oklahoma 2/232th field Artillery we had Self Propelled Paladins but they were first short tube cannons and they used a shotgun shell looking device for the primer to set off the round and there was no automatic device for shoving the round into the tube the gun bunnies used a long aluminum ram rod pole to ram the round into the chamber. I remember when they first upgraded all our battery's guns to the long tube that's now a staple one of our guy's was backing out of the motor pool and when he hit the usually spot for a spin and turn after exiting the bay he forgot he now had a longer tube and bam took out a support column on the building by the door bay's lol Ours back in 1976 were called 109A1 I believe if I remember correctly.

20. I was a gunner myself at Fest Art from 1976 to 1995. Our guns in Switzerland could shoot much faster. – Min. 6 shots per minute was the lowest limit and was already considered a poor performance. As a rule, I always achieved 8-9 shots per minute with my team without any problems.
