Female cops…. useless in a fight

Well said. She should have dropped her baton and grabbed one of the guys arms and pulled it back behind him so he couldnt strike, push the guy off the officer, and handcuff him. Seems like that could have been a better option. Took way too long for her to do anything meaningful. Well said. She wasnt doing much with the baton. Also agree about the distancing issue.

What issue do I see immediately? Yup, a completely ineffective female officer. Her partner is getting crushed, or choked or smothered by bad breath and hair and all she can do is spank him like an S&M queen. This is FAR too common.
[edit] Let me expound. I have no issues with females being police officers. I DO have issues with double standards. Males and Females should be required to meet the same exact standards for the job they are attempting to qualify for. Physical standards, mental standards, etc. If you don't meet the requirements you don't get the job. Period. Being a police officer should not or ever be an equal opportunity job. Yes this will mean less female officers, but the ones who do make it will tow the line. Letting anyone in gets you shit like this and it could very well mean someone loses their life as a result. Again this is not an isolated issue. I see it far too often.

I don't understand. Celebrities at the Oscars told me that all women are superheroes. And yet this female police officer seems totally useless.
Why do they continue to put real cops in danger by hiring women.
Even when the other officers showed up there was no rush to get in there and help. Drove up slowly and walked up slowly. Pathetic.

Love you, my blue brother. In Chicago, a LOT of us would not take on a female partner because of a case such as this. She is supposed to be 'back up", NOT just an outside observer!!! Jeez, I would NEVER ride with this waste of time again. She did almost NOTHING to help her partner; those "love taps" with a baton had NO effect. Thank the Lord back-up was swift. This could have been a disaster. Thanks Mike. Go Blue!!!

Girl sistah cop politely asking violent thug to get off her partner. Should have applied a concussion when the love taps didn't work. You know what community does not trust NYPD? Law-abiding citizens.
THANK GOD It wasn't a need to draw weapon situation. That would have REALLY been ugly!
Problem #1: the officer was standing unnecessarily close to the individual.
Problem #2: the officer isnt paying any attention to the individual's body language.
Problem #3: after being attacked, and seeing the individual disengage and create space, the officer attempts to tackle him instead of drawing his taser or firearm.
Problem #4: the partner is standing around with her finger in the air checking the direction of the wind for the first 10 seconds of the attack, which is enough time for her partner to already be dead.
Problem #5: instead of busting this guys liver to save her partner she's trying to be cordial and polite while her partner is literally fighting for his life.
Problem #6: bunch of civilians walking around seeing this attack take place and doing NOTHING about it.
This lady needs to have her badge taken.
i had to comment at 3 min. first of all , i would not want a female cop to watch my 6,,, mister get off ,mister get off. second i would have shoved that baton up that guys ass in about 2 seconds, and a taser to follow. mister get off mister get off. third , my weapon would be in his ear with one warning, you know somthing like. I agree. The incident was crazy. And not imprisoning this guy, given the video, which the judge should have access to, — well that's very strange.
Im sorry for saying this but in 90% of every body cam I've ever seen ( I go on bodycam watching marathons with friends) the female officer is in fault in some way, always poor response to situations and inappropriate ways to respond to situations, but there are most defiently good female officers out there that are by a longshot better than some other male officers.
This will seem unfair but it is needed – female officers should have an extended probationary period where they have to have more ride along hours, there is way too many cases that I've seen the officer slacking off completely and risking them and others safety.
Wouldn't want that partner, because if he had a knife and was stabbing the guy on the ground and she was just saying "please sir stop hurting my friends" and using a baton like she's swatting a bug.
To me I'd request a another partner for fear of my life, that would make me want to transfer or quit if you couldn't get anyone else. Preferably someone who sees that this guys skin was exposed and that's a tasers home.
