This wasn’t holding police accountable in my opinion, just seems as though you wanted to know what was going on. If there is an elderly couple who are obviously troubled by your presence why would you continue to stand so close and film. Sometimes I think the auditing community gets to a point where individuals do things just for the sake of it. What was the point in agitating the situation? And I’m asking this as a genuine question, not to start an argument.

The only reason I would think she would be upset about having a camera is because it’s embarrassing when police have to be called. Is it illegal for him to film on public sidewalk of course not, but I’m sure it’s embarrassing for her. No one wants this stuff filmed. It is what it is they can’t do anything about it.
That lady has every right to be mad some random guy is filming her and her house. If someone was standing in front of my house with a camera i would assume they were scoping my house out and was planning on coming back to rob me, so if the police werent already there id call them. In this day and age its trust no one.
