CPU wants the first point out that none of these officers have their badges displayed as per the NYPD Patrol guide…… and they also did not hand out their business cards as per the new policy when they conduct stops…
PSA 4 anti-crime unit continue to roll in the street and violate the 4th amendment rights of people who are just minding their business and not committing any crimes or violations for that matter… no probable cause to search them or the vehicles when papers come back valid, vehicle comes back valid, insurance papers come back valid, and the license comes back valid….basically on a routine car stop, as long as the license and insurance come back clean and no warrants pop, the officers then hands the driver a summons and then sends them on their way…however, these officers continue to violate the Fourth Amendment rights of people when they pull them out of their car after all their papers check out and starts to search the vehicle and the person without consent is a violation. #nypd #copwatchpatrolunit #psa4
