NYPD – Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark today released the report on the investigation into the fatal shooting of Kawaski Trawick inside his apartment by a member of the New York City
Police Department on April 14, 2019, as well as the body camera, surveillance camera video of the shooting and the events leading up
to it.
On April 14, 2019, at 11:08 p.m., Police Officer Brendan Thompson of the New York City
Police Department shot Kawaski Trawick to death in his apartment at a supportive housing facility in the Bronx while responding to a complaint that Mr. Trawick had harassed the building’s
superintendent.
