  2. Actually… yes… A police officer has the discretion to apply laws or not. Its called judgement. We in canada can driver 20 over the limits on the highway and the probability to be pull over for this is like… almost 0%. And there's a difference between LAW and mandate or decree or whatever they call it in your region. Laws are kinda sacred, for they often are the result of the work of A LOT of people while decree, mandate or whatever are often imposed by one or two people. Not the same thing at all.

  16. I remember a popular phrase a couple of years ago that they were putting on t-shirts and stuff. "When guns become illegal, I'll become an outlaw." Looks like a lot of us are heading towards becoming rebel outlaws. Defending the constitution, and everything America once stood for.

  17. If normal person is arrested against the law or against the constitution, we have to basically just remain passive and fight the wrongdoing in court, but when cops think some law is unconstitutional the cops should be the one who decides that, not courts? That is funny.

  18. I don’t agree with all of New York’s Corona restrictions but I think police should enforce the, anyway cause’ their job is to enforce the law, whether they agree with it or not. But if someone calls them dictators they’re either knowingly lying or their an idiot who doesn’t know what a dictator is because it’s just simple vocabulary. It makes about as much sense as calling the police paleontologists for not enforcing the Corona restrictions.

  30. If I ever became a cop I would arrest any cop that didn't enforce the law. For example, if another cop was drunk driving I would lock him up asap. If a cop arrested someone for something that they clearly didn't do or if that cop violates his rights, then I would arrest him for violating his rights. If a cop didn't enforce the mask mandate to save peoples lives (because everyone has the right to life), then I would arrest them for breaking their oath to the constitution.

A mandate is not a law they cannot enforce that they cannot take her to jail for it I can't do anything just like in Michigan none of the cops would follow along with governorship shitmer and that's why judges was overturning her rulings all last year cuz they don't have the authority to do it under the Mandate they cannot make you and it breaks your First Amendment right let's not forget the fact that this virus has less than 1% death rate it's a joke

This whole rona dumpster fire has really shown me how much ive always had in common with constitutionally loyal members of the law enforcement community, despite my experience as a dumb kid who thought they were all out to get people. I have so much more respect for and gratitude for every officer, and especially the ones who taught me responsibility and fore thoughtby way of my arrests in my youth. At the time i had no perview of the nature of my behaviors and how lucky i am the officers caught amd corrected my actions. For those you who stand by constitutional law and genuinely care about helping people i thank you, and i pray for you all every day.

  42. I can't understand why so many US citizens question the simplest measures like mask and distance. No country in the world is fucked as hard by Corona as the US. Do you even look beyond the borders, e.g. at non-US media? From the outside it seems as if you live in your own microcosm. Don't you realize that the whole world population makes fun of you when they are not crying because so many people are dying so unnecessarily. It seems as if you have a serious information problem. Practically no neutral media exist and your politicians are going completely crazy because they can and have to do it thanks to the two party system, without all the theatrics no donations come in and without the very big money your strangely wrong-headed democracy can't exist.

    This comment is not meant to be nasty or insulting. It is a serious question that everyone I know is asking.
    The whole thing is even sadder, because 30 years ago you were a shining example that everyone respected and admired. Now it's the other way around and that makes me very sad.

  46. That was a stupid word to use. Makes no sense. But he is right about cops not enforcing the law. He has every right to make those rules and the state legislature approves. His authority is constitutionally sanctioned. He is not saying that cops need to enforce these covid rules according to some regimented process. And he said that he doesn't expect cops to drag people out of homes. They must, however, cite business owners for violating the law. And cite homeowners that have excessive numbers of people in there homes.
    Some are refusing. That's insubordination. Check out the covid rules here. They are not contradictory. We're pretty happy with our low covid rates and would like to keep it that way. Would you like the feds to step in and smack cuomo down for this? The way he was smacked down on the church rules? Hmmm? Do your homework, bro.
