16. As people point out, all these questionable cop activities happen in Liberal cities. If the politicians influence how the police operate, then perhaps they're voting for the wrong politicians? I mean how do rioters successfully destroy a city block? Because the police were not allowed to stop them. People on the left should know politicians don't get a flying F*** about their wants. Yet instead of going after public buildings, politicians themselves, they much prefer burning down a car dealership, a baker's shop, clothing store, gas station, stuff that do not really effect the Public Sector, but the Private Sector. If you want to hurt the politicians, you go after the Public Sector institutions. Ironically the DC Rioters actually knew how to piss off politicians, and they did so successfully by storming a major public building the Capital Building. Unlike all the cowards who rioted throughout the summer doing nothing but helping real estate scalpers find new cheap property to buy up from business they helped go belly up.

30. I think cops should be held to the same standard as people in the military, and for big cities, even hold them to the same standard as special forces. Some of the training programs and the standards for police are a damn joke. Police officers are entrusted to protect their community, which is just as important as protecting the country.

37. To answer your question Mike, poorly. Living here before the riot and increase in crime, Minneapolis for the most part felt safe to live here and didn't think often of my safety. Now, I am always on edge walking around at night when I have to and always looking around. It really has gone to crap here.

If everyone was armed crime would be near zero, and LEO would not have much to do except to determine if a shooting was righteous or not. 43. Hey Mike, let me worry about the "bad" people trying to rob me, unless someone is bleeding it takes cops 20 mins to show up anyway. I'm wondering when cops are going to stand against the REAL criminals – politicians who order cops to violate the PEOPLE'S rights. If cops cite/arrest people for not wearing masks/having family gatherings/trying to earn a living at their own place of business/enforce BS red flag laws/confiscate firearms, then I have to wonder: Is your pension worth my than my rights? When cops have no problem with asset forfeiture, cover for dirty cops, and don't give a shit about the Constitution, I have no problem with defunding tyrants.

I feel bad for the general public their leaders are morons and they are paying for it. The cops are gonna have a real up hill battle ahead of them and let’s hope the politicians will leave the cops alone to do what they need to do to fix it.
