  1. I'm not sure if it's true or not but a friend of mine from the US who used to be a cop in NY told me that if you get pulled over by a cop in NY and you have a box of Krispy Kream Donuts on the passenger seat there's a good chance you won't get a ticket

  4. Caffeine and sugar… the combination that has kept cops, and damn near everyone else working at night, awake for the past fifty years. Working security patrol on nights for years, I frequented a lot of donut shops.
    One of my favorite movie quotes was from 'Red Heat', when Jim Belushi tosses Arnold Schwarzenegger a bag of take-out and tells him "The four food groups of Law Enforcement… burgers, fries, coffee, and donuts."

  7. Of course I love donuts and coffee, a great breakfast! I did a police HQ tour for a high school externship, where the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety where I want to work as a sworn officer, one of the other kids had that stigma.
