Even though what you did to this citizen was not only disrespectful but clearly illegal, there’s no case law that covers the EXACT crime you committed so you’re covered under qualified immunity. Even better EVERY police officer in America will be able to assault citizens the same way you did and get away with it because of qualified immunity because – you got it – there is no established case law because of………drumroll please………….qualified immunity!
